Automations send a message at a precise moment of the stay cycle, hands-off. Configure them once; they run forever.
Pre-loaded automations
- Instant confirmation on reservation creation
- Pre-arrival email 48h before check-in (practical info, directions)
- Check-in SMS on the day at 9am
- Balance reminder 24h before arrival if payment pending
- Review request 24h after check-out
Create an automation
Messages → Automations → + New. Define:
- Trigger: reservation created / check-in in X days / check-out done X hours ago
- Target: all reservations, or filter (OTA = Booking, amount > €500…)
- Channel: email, SMS, WhatsApp
- Template to use (see Message templates)
Quiet hours
To avoid sending an SMS at 11pm, set a quiet window in Settings → Messages → Quiet hours. Messages scheduled during that window are deferred to opening.
Track sends
On Automations → History, see every send: success, failure, opens, clicks. Useful to measure pre-arrival email impact.
