A maintenance ticket is a specialised task: it has a type (plumbing, electrical, furniture…), a photo and an optional cost estimate.
Open a ticket from mobile
Typical flow: housekeeping spots an issue while cleaning. On mobile, they tap Report an issue straight from the room sheet, snap a photo, pick a category. The ticket is filed in two taps.
Categorise
Default categories:
- Plumbing
- Electrical
- Air conditioning
- Furniture
- Safety (fire, access)
- Wi-Fi / TV
You can add more under Super-admin → Categories.
Track the ticket
The maintenance manager sees every open ticket in a dedicated view. They assign the right technician, attach quotes or invoices, and close it once fixed.
Close the room
If the issue blocks occupancy, click Close room from the ticket. The room is auto-marked out of service until resolution.
Costs
Log quotes and final invoices on the ticket. Heroes aggregates maintenance spend in Reports → Maintenance.
