A playbook is a task template that fires automatically on a trigger (day of week, check-in, check-out…). No more manually recreating the same tasks.
Use cases
- Daily housekeeping: at 8am, create a "Clean room X" task for every occupied room
- Check-out inspection: on each check-out, spawn a minibar inspection task
- Weekly maintenance: every Monday, create 10 inspection tasks (AC, water, safety…)
- VIP welcome: on each VIP check-in, create 4 tasks (fruit, note, upgrade…)
Create a playbook
Open Tools → Playbooks → + New. Define:
- Trigger (cron, check-in, check-out, manual)
- Target (all rooms, one type, one role)
- Task list to spawn (title, priority, assigned to)
Activation
A playbook can be in draft (tests) or active (production). Toggle to flip.
Run history
Each run is logged: tasks created, any failures, duration. Useful to diagnose when a morning routine didn't fire.
