Drag-and-drop reservations

On the Gantt you interact with reservations by drag-and-drop, like in a calendar editor.

Move a reservation

Click-drag a bar to another row (different room) or another day. Heroes checks live:

• The target room is available
• The type is compatible (otherwise a warning)
• The date isn't in the past

On conflict, the drop is cancelled with a red message.

Change the length

Grab the left or right edge of the bar and drag:

• Right edge: change departure (extend or early check-out)
• Left edge: change arrival

The rate is auto-recomputed and a summary appears at drag-end for confirmation.

Split a reservation

For a long stay where the guest needs to change rooms mid-way, Ctrl + click on the bar at the split point: Heroes offers to break it into two consecutive nights.

Conflicts and alerts

If an operation creates a conflict (overbooking, closed room…), a red bar flashes for 5 seconds to grab attention. The reservation stays in its previous state until you confirm a resolution.
