Block and close rooms

A block is a period where the room is marked unavailable without a real guest. Handy for maintenance, deep cleaning, winter closure…

Create a block

On the Gantt, drag as you would for a regular reservation but tick Internal block in the form. Fill in:

• Reason (maintenance, paint, water damage…)
• Period (start and end date)
• Internal note visible in the mobile app

Effect on OTAs

A block closes availability on every connected OTA within 2 minutes. No need to close manually room-by-room on Booking or Airbnb.

Block an entire type

On Rates & availability, click the day's cell and mark Closed. Every room of that type is closed at once. Useful for annual closure days.

Lift a block

Click the grey hatched bar on the Gantt → Remove block. The room is reopened everywhere immediately.
