Three ways to record a reservation: from the Reservations page, by dragging on the Planning grid, or via the "+" quick menu in the header.
From Planning (recommended)
This is the fastest path. On the Gantt grid, click-drag along the room's row from the arrival day to the departure day. A mini-form opens:
- Guest name (auto-searches your existing database)
- Email / phone (either is enough)
- Adults / children
- Rate (auto-computed from your prices, editable)
Hit Confirm and the reservation lands on the grid immediately.
From Reservations
Open Reservations → + New reservation. The full form (extras, special requests, promo code…) slides in from the right. Best for long stays or group bookings.
Statuses
A new reservation defaults to Confirmed. You can also create an Option (held 48h without payment) or Pending (quote sent, awaiting validation).
Notifications
If you provide an email, the guest auto-receives the confirmation and PDF voucher. Toggle off from Settings → Messages.
