Manage room types

A room type is the commercial category (Standard, Deluxe, Suite, 4-bed Dorm…). A room is the physical unit (101, 102, 201…). Many rooms can share the same type.

Create a new type

Open Rooms → Types → + New type. Fill in:

• Commercial name (shown on OTAs)
• Standard and maximum capacity
• Beds (1 king, 2 singles, etc.)
• Floor area in m²
• Amenities (AC, balcony, kitchenette…)

Add photos

Drag-and-drop images into the editor. The first photo becomes the cover on OTAs. Tip: 6-10 photos per type, landscape format, 1920×1280 minimum.

Link physical rooms

From the type page, click + Add a unit. For each room:

• Room number (internal)
• Floor
• Specific notes (sea view, near lift…)

Reorder

Drag rows in the list to change the display order. It's respected everywhere: Gantt, booking forms, mobile app.
