Don't want to write code? Zapier, n8n and Make.com offer out-of-the-box Heroes connectors so you can automate point-and-click.
Zapier connector
On Zapier, search "Heroes PMS". Connect your account with an API key (see API keys and webhooks). Available triggers and actions:
- New reservation (trigger)
- Reservation cancelled (trigger)
- Guest checked in (trigger)
- Create reservation (action)
- Update guest (action)

- New reservation → row in Google Sheets for custom reporting
- Check-in → Slack message to the team + VIP welcome task
- Cancelled reservation → row in Sage accounting

n8n self-hosted
If you self-host n8n, use the HTTP Request node with your API key. Workflow examples are published on the n8n hub.
Make (formerly Integromat)
Official Heroes module on the Make marketplace. Same triggers and actions as Zapier.
Read-only iCal feeds
Heroes also exposes an iCal feed per room for tools that don't support the API: add the URL to your calendar (Google, Outlook…) to view your reservations.
